Once a person is saved, the number one priority should be seeking entrance into the Kingdom through the salvation of their soul. It is pictured as a runner in a race seeking a prize represented by a crown that will last forever.

The salvation of the soul and entrance into the coming Kingdom are only achieved through much testing and the trial of one’s faith. If you are going through difficulty, then REJOICE:

“Blessed is the man who perserveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.” (James 1:12)

The “Traditional” teaching on “THE KINGDOM” has taken the Church captive into believing all Christians will rule and reign with Christ no matter if they have lived faithful and obedient lives, or if they have been slothful and disobedient with the talents God has given them. Find out the important Truth while time still remains.

On a recent trip to Israel, I was able to see the actual location where Jesus delivered His famous Sermon on the Mount.  This is not the location where all the tour buses will take you, but it is the actual place were our Lord taught the disciples.

Mount of Beatitudes

The Mount of Beatitudes is actually located about a mile or so west of the city of Tiberias, which is located on the Sea of Galilee.  The above photograph was taken from our tour bus as we were traveling away from the city on Route 77.  It is important to notice that Jesus left the great multitudes of people and climbed up on this mountain to give His important Sermon.

“And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him.” (Matthew 5:1 – NKJV)

“Christ preached this Sermon, which was an exposition of the Law, upon a mountain, because upon a mountain the Law was given: and this was also a solemn promulgation of the Christian Law. But observe the difference: when the Law was given the Lord came down upon the mountain, now the Lord ‘went up’ into one; then He spoke in thunder and lightning, now in a still small voice; then the people were ordered to keep their distance, now they are invited to draw near – a blessed change!” (Matthew Henry – 1662 to 1714)

Audio Teachings by Pastor James Hollandsworth

The Sermon on the Mount was delivered by our Lord to teach His disciples what their new life was to be like. If you are a Christian today, are you also a disciple? Are you habitually hearing and doing the things Jesus tells you to do in this short Sermon? The purpose of Overcomers Guide to the Kingdom is to help you be the overcomer Jesus wants you to be and to help you gain your own entrance in the coming Kingdom.

Pastor James Hollandsworth from the Tri-City Baptist Church in Forest City, North Carolina preached a series on the Sermon on the Mount in 2019. His teachings on this important subject are very similar to the viewpoint taken in Overcomers Guide to the Kingdom. These can be found using the following link:
